Here are some papers relevant to our work. I have a goodly number of these, and may link in more later, but this is a good place to begin. I will start another thread for fast, HV, HP switches soon as well --
The first is contributed by a friend who consults for ITER, and is on getting both HV and RF right in feedthroughs.
The second describes factors in vacuum breakdown, in this case for circuit breaker design, but the concepts are there and relevant.
This attachment thing where the last thing you add winds up first is bugging me, but I didn't want to put this big stuff inline.
