A few thoughts. Please excuse my limited understanding. I tend to know just enough to be dangerous.
What are you using to drive the H-bridge? I assume you're going to push the Transformer a little out of it's range to get some more of the parameter sweep before going to the tube beast.
I guess ...

Re: New ion source interesting effects, baseline data
I don't think you have to post more, but some of us get a bit worried when we don't see anything for a couple weeks. I check in most days, and am now used to the occasional week between posts. I think everyone is quite happy for you to spend your time however you see fit, and I imagine that isn't ...

Re: Why I've been so quiet of late...
Well I'm ready to form a company to build plants, or retrofit coal plants, whatever works best. When we are building 600 to 1000 MW plants, chump change for the plant can be pretty good for the individuals who started the project, with the added benefit of ridding the world of coal. Happy to help ...

Looking forward to reading about it. I'm surprised that wireless is going to work for you. I would have thought noise off the fusor or power supply would have made wifi a dicey situation, but I suppose at 2.4 Ghz wifi isn't in the same range as the fusor noise.

Funny, I was just thinking of writing an "Are you still alive?" post. Thanks for letting us know you haven't blown yourself up. Yet.

Re: 3D printing in Tungsten
I think they primarily make x-ray imaging components for Philips, and I suspect they kind of charge what they like as it will still be cheaper/better than the alternative. If they are independent they might be interested in helping just for the challenge.

I don't think the accuracy or density is what Doug needs for grids, but pretty interesting none the less. 230x230x200 mm max size, 100um minimum feature size. No idea what the surface finish looks like, but hey, its printed and in Tungsten!

Re: Lockheed claims breakthrough on fusion reactor.
A lot of big but carefully worded claims, a very flashy video, nice pictures of beautiful vacuum chamber, but no real description of the supposed reactor, no results, no description of the theory of why this thing will work. Also the chief investigator sounds more like a car salesman than a ...

Re: An indexer for drilling fusor grid holes
I think that is really slick. Should be as good or better than a good dividing head. I like spider for centering your grid pieces as well. Are you using any tricks to start the holes?
