Okay last week Rand and I did some video of the new implanter running and Rand also wanted to try a little green screenning

so it all went together a bit like this

A solid effort, John. It's bloomin' difficult to make an instructive video!! Nice to see it is set up to be so 'turn-key', must've taken many hours to get there.

(PS - what does "esiecially" mean? [@0:14])

I'd go past "solid effort" to "stunningly awesome", myself. For Hitchhikers GTTG fans, "this must be some new use of the word easy with which I was previously unfamiliar". Easy now, yup. But John has also honestly been reporting much of the hard work and general input it's taken to get here to where "it's easy", no?

Great show too -- loved the production!
Thanks for putting this up here, John!

Chris
Okay we can't spell "especially"
I cannot take any credit for the video, that's all Rands doing with help from Apple i'Movie.
I'm just the smuck driving the implanter and having a head minus body moment
Rand has ordered an HD handycam so we might do a retake of the whole thing with a bit more detail
This was shot with an eight year old digital still camera in movie mode that has very few options with even fewer when in movie mode.
And before anyone asks this was done in our own time not works
Rand might chime in with more details

That's awesome! I love the floating head approach to a narrator, it's so much more entertaining than just a voice over.

Just cross your fingers that youtube does not yank it. You used copyrighted music which they will yank it for.

I clicked on your Youtube video as my first act after making an introduction to the forum. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully appreciate any visual effects, or even know for certain what you were doing, but the audio/stereo inserts and sound effects were entertaining, even hillarious. Anybody want to let me in on what was being done?
