That's pretty much a perfect match for the psu I made. I can drive [that is - have driven] 200W at 400V/3MHz. This was with Fairchild FQP 500V FET's in a 'real' push-pull P-N half-bridge (rather than a floating n type). I tried many other FETs, drivers and arrangements, but I found it was only these I could really get running up to 6MHz or 500V (seems I can't quite do both at the same time with them, though!).

I'm sure IXYS makes stuff that can drive faster and harder, but I can confirm it doesn't need to be those space-tech chips - it can be done easily, and on a budget of a few buck for the [right] FETs.
