So you wana fly wth the big boys

Pictures du jour here.

This is a good place to put pix of your lab or shop intended to produce the drool reaction. If topics get lengthy here, we may want to move most of the discussion to where it fits in the org scheme here (such as it is). Good place for announcements of things you just got working and so on. Respecting readers who may not have large bandwidth, try and keep the pictures to about one megapixel -- we have the BW and the storage here, no problems, but some readers may not.

Fixed it for you. Nice job by those guys - they obviously weren't pushing the envelope if that thing can do a barrel roll in level flight and not lose altitude. It could probably have flown far higher as well.

Being an SR-71 lookalike, I admit to a slight disappointment of no camera footage from the plane's POV. That is, after all, what those were all about.
Posting as just me, not as the forum owner. Everything I say is "in my opinion" and YMMV -- which should go for everyone without saying.

Thanks Doug - reason I posted is that without a size ref in flight or takeoff you would not know that it is a model.

They have one at Duxford England (the Imperial War Museum) and I had the privilege to see it up close in the flesh.
