Hello all. First post, I believe.
What John didn't mention is that immediately after that sailing the weather turned sour. It's been raining ever since, and inconveniently coincided with my boat coming out of the water for paint (and removal of the attached aquatic reserve).

I've been searching for any information on the use of sound generators or attestations by major carriers that these actually keep the barnacles and other pests from attaching to the hull. The power consumption could be reduced if such a device could determine appropriate resonant frequencies, and if it actually worked.
Does anyone have any references I could read?
