Making Libreoffice update high priority

How to make them do what you want, not to rant on about. Slashdot is better for rants anyway.

Making Libreoffice update high priority

Postby Robert Hopkins » Thu Nov 05, 2015 6:56 pm

Put the following into /etc/apt/preferences.d
Code: Select all
Package: *
Pin: release o=LP-PPA-libreoffice
Pin-Priority: 700

in a file named libreoffice.pref. This way libreoffice will be at the top of the list for updating.
To write the file you must be root.
