Formula for ion bending / mass selection

Bending radius 90 degrees (in cm)= (143.95/B) (amu V/n) ^0.5

where B is in gauss
v= acceleration voltage
n =charge state ie for nitrogen N2 =0.5, N+ =1, N++ =2 etc
amu =atomic weight
