Re: Sensitive reactive targets
Yeah, from the hole left behind probably a hundred tons of topsoil was blasted in the air. And it takes a serious explosive to set off ammonium nitrate that was probably just sitting in bags with nothing like diesel mixed in like it is normally used.

Re: Sensitive reactive targets
A guy at work builds custom M1As on the side and just put together a Garand. He picked up a stock from these guys and says it is great. Eventually he is going to bed it in.

Re: Sensitive reactive targets
I put a Burris AR-332 on there and it did come with a red dot.
I have not seen any damage to brass, though I dont reload. I picked up a case of old Ethiopian ammo and the stuff seems to shoot good. And cheap!

Re: Sensitive reactive targets
Finally took out my SR-10 (AR-10) that I bought last year and sighted it in when we went out to the desert a couple weeks ago and friends shot it too:

Ill believe that when I see it. Its all conjecture at this point.
Either way I have a 1200W power supply so I am good.

Re: New main machine build
The new card is higher, but thats mostly compared to the recent 10 and 20 series cards using very little power than the previous versions. I replaced my two 780's in SLI with a 1080 and got way better performance and saved a lot of power.

Re: New main machine build
My ild i7-3960x mobo and cpu died the other month. Ended up just getting a i5-9600k and a MSI motherboard to go with it with 16gigs of DDR4. Bestbuy had a package deal so it worked out. You can pick up used Tektronix TDS series scopes for about $100. Like the Tek TDS 320 and 340.

Re: New double speed arduino nano clone
I needed to talk to a propriety serial bus we use at work that would have to clock in data at 50mhz (~50 megabytes a sec) but its just a tad too slow for that. Going with a FPGA board from Opal Kelly. More expensive but it already has the LVDS lines and serializers, deserializers built in.

Re: New double speed arduino nano clone
Lol, try the Teensy 4.0 with a 600MHz ARM cortex M7. It benchmarks at 330x the speed of a 328. I picked one up for work the other day.
